Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms, reporting any changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment options
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Experience administering injections and medications
- Familiarity with hospice palliative medicine, neonatal ventilators, occupational health, and family planning
- Knowledge of assisted living and nursing home care practices
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care systems
