What You'll Do

The Marketing Specialist specializes in event management, internal/external communications, and dealer support. For the Heavy Equipment business unit, responsibilities are planning and execution of trade shows, corporate events, email campaigns and communication, digital marketing projects, and other related activities. This position will work closely with the marketing, sales, and product team to advance company initiatives through digital marketing and events, including Tier 1 trade shows (ConExpo, World of Concrete, ARA), and Tier 2 trade shows (Regional); dealer events, including dealer meetings and corp. events. This position will be responsible for all activities associated with these events, from planning to execution and measurement. Serve as an internal expert for events, and internal and external communication.

Dealer Meetings, Relations & Support

• Lead site, vendor, and audience selection for major events, source components of events, develop staffing, budget plans, and ensure effective execution
• Manage agencies to maximize financial and creative advertising
• Dealer Co-op management, invoicing, and budget support
• Curate and maintain strong dealer relations with quick reactiveness/responsiveness
• Successfully and professionally interact with dealers

Trade Show Management & Events

• Handle coordination of industry tradeshow registration including booth space procurement, insurance, rental equipment, print ads, shipping materials and handouts/gifts.
• Lead project management and coordination of key dates
• Research and prepare marketing tools to develop our dealers marketing activity at regional shows
• Coordinate all logistics related to trade shows and events
• Assist with event marketing and periodically attend events
• Plan, coordinate and execute regional dealer meetings and other corp events and conferences
• Hotel contract negotiation and finalization
• F&B
• Meetings, and leisure event planning
• Pre, during and after communication with attendees and internal staff

ConExpo (every 3 years-2023 next event)

• Lead successful execution of exhibit and marketing strategy at ConExpo
• Lead collaboration of marketing, e-marketing, social media, advertising and PR activities
• Oversee execution of design, contract, and supervise build of booth elements
• Create and manage trade show budget and vendors

Budget Management & Agency Collaboration

• Successful planning and management of trade show budgets
• Manage the relationship and exhibit programs with current and future vendors
• Maintain collaborative and professional vendor/agency/partner relations

Communication & Merchandise

• Marketing Cloud email campaign management
• Weekly dealer and staff emails (marketing, sales, announcements)
• Source information, develop communication plan, build and compose emails, and deploy
• Track results
• Lead the agency to manage merchandise development and program administration
• Ensure DEVELON store is equipped with necessary merch, watch and implement new trends, negotiate prices
• Liaison between dealer and vendor, support as needed

Digital Marketing & Administration

• Assist with planning and Coordination of digital campaigns
• Coordinate with agency overall content calendar
• Manage all marketing-related administrative works such as Brand policing, etc.
• Manage contact forms and integrate with Salesforce as needed
• Assist with CRM database management

What You'll Need to Be Successful

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration required
• 5-7 years of experience in marketing and events management/communication
• Travel:10 - 24 %
• Experience with Marketing Cloud or other Email Marketing tools
• Experience with Salesforce
• Working knowledge of Content Management Systems, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint
• Some knowledge of Adobe CS, HTML, CSS, Canto DAM
• Demonstrated exceptional event management and execution skills
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple, simultaneous projects, strong project management experience
• Ability to interact with and influence internal and external colleagues
• Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles
• Ability to determine the best possible solution and communicate with others
• Strong and professional communication skills
• Korean language proficiency strongly preferred, but not required
