Key / Sales Acct Manager
Reports to VP of Sales
What will you do?
  • Manage various accounts esp. grocery and dollar channel throughout the USA and the associated buyer relationships
  • Present sales presentations, data and new item recommendations
  • Develop sales plans including forecast, strategy and promotional plans
  • Manage promotional budgets and allowances for various accounts
  • Monitor competitive products, pricing, in-store activity, product launches etc.
  • Provide sales reporting and analysis via store data tools and/or Neilson or IRI
  • Identify and contact potential accounts for new item and business opportunities
  • Negotiate sales terms, skus, pricing, etc. with accounts and brokers
  • Manage and input sku paperwork for new and existing items in account systems
  • Review account web sites for full assortments, pricing and visuals
  • Work marketing, retail events and tradeshows as necessary
  • Travel up to 60%
What You’ll Need To Succeed
A successful candidate will have the following: self-confidence, energy and the ability to sell and negotiate with ease. The candidate should also be able to analyze and communicate data verbally and in presentations, have a love for beauty and be committed to a team environment. Having an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for driving results are also essential. Communication, follow up and building relationships with buyers and account associates must be key areas of strength.
  • Selling beauty, personal care, hair care or hair color experience
  • Sales account experience in food, drug, dollar, or mass segments is a requirement
  • Proven track record of developing strategic retail relationships with buyers, and category managers
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills
  • Passion for driving results with a strong interest in the beauty industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • 4 year college degree preferred
