Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in the Agricultural Field: We are looking for an individual with a solid background in agriculture and environmental science, with a keen and complex understanding of soil and compost health. Experience in this area is essential.
  • Established Network of Agricultural Contacts: A strong existing network within the agricultural community is highly desirable. Your ability to leverage these connections will be instrumental in expanding Deveron’s reach and influence.
  • Willingness to Travel: This role requires frequent travel to events, customer locations, and other relevant industry gatherings. Candidates based out of Kansas City will find themselves strategically positioned for travel across the region, facilitating personal interactions with customers and partners.
  • Focus on Larger Outlets: Your primary focus will be on cultivating relationships and managing the expansion of our distributorships, engaging with large retail outlets, compost facilities, and laboratories. This may also involve collaboration with University and State Labs.
  • Extensive Training: The selected candidate will undergo comprehensive training at our Maine laboratory for approximately four weeks. This training will provide you with the knowledge and tools necessary to excel in your role and effectively represent Deveron’s products and services.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in the agricultural field and environmental science, with a strong emphasis on soil and compost health.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining successful relationships within the agricultural community.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and represent Deveron with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
