Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate logistics activities including transportation, delivery, and storage of goods
- Track and monitor shipment movements to ensure on-time delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of logistics activities
- Manage and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and carriers
- Develop and implement logistics policies, procedures, and strategies
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures
- Manage customs and export compliance requirements
- Logistics experience, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Capable of creating, maintaining excel spreadsheets, written reports and documentation
- Excellent organization, analytical, and communication skills,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high quality results
- Proven leadership ability and excellent interpersonal skills
