Dewberry is currently seeking an energetic and motivated Proposal / Marketing Coordinator (Hybrid) to join our Mid-Atlantic Marketing Team that will be based in our Fairfax, VA, Gainesville, VA, Leesburg VA, Lanham, MD, Rockville, MD, Baltimore, MD, or Richmond, VA offices.
Our Mid-Atlantic Marketing Team supports local offices, strategic pursuits, and collaborates with other marketers to develop strategy and submit winning proposals to our targeted clients.

Responsibilities
- Support multiple proposal efforts and teams simultaneously within diverse markets and service offerings.
- Develop quality proposal responses both collaboratively with pursuit managers and subject matter experts as well as being empowered to develop responses on your own.
- Responsible for a variety of proposal types including state and local proposals, SF330’s, design-build proposals, technical proposals, qualification packages, and oral presentations.
- Comply with our corporate standards to present a consistent appearance / style for all presentation graphics, proposals, resumes, and collateral materials.
- Compiles and edits proposal materials, including verifying and formatting proposal information.
- Coordinate with corporate communications team to develop promotions, graphics, advertisements, and photography.
- Support Client Managers in market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence.
- Perform QA / QC to ensure proposals and other marketing materials are compliant, accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
- Support proposal production process and assembling and delivery of final documents.
- Support development and submission of awards entries.
- Manage event planning for a variety of conferences.
- Prepare marketing collateral including OnePagers, leave behinds, and other marketing materials.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) entry, editing, and reporting.
- Support marketing in day-to-day efforts.
Required Skills & Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, Journalism, Graphic Design or related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience personally producing proposals and managing proposal efforts in the A / E / C industry.
- Experience with state / local proposal formats.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud desktop publishing applications (InDesign & Acrobat Pro).
- Must have extensive computer software skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook & Teams).
- Knowledge of database / CRM systems, specifically Deltek Vision, a plus.
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
- Effective proposal management skills including strong attention to detail, planning, organization, problem identification and resolution, and resource management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Must be flexible, self-motivated, able to prioritize multiple tasks, coordinate shifting priorities, respond to short-term deadlines, and carry a diverse workload with tight timelines.
- Must be available to work overtime as necessary in order to meet business requirements.
