Greenhouse Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Greenhouse Technician to join our team. This includes assisting the cultivation team in planting, harvesting, and delivering the highest quality cannabis flowers in the industry. You will play a critical role in quality control, monitoring the health of our crops, and working with the larger team to make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal pleant health and growth. A deep understanding of cannabis strains, growth requirements, and genetics is essential. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, the ability to closely follow instructions, and maintain high-quality standards at a rapid pace throughout the workday. Physical mobility including sitting, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling is required. You must consistently adhere to security, safety, and compliance protocols as established by management and state regulations.

Duties:

• Assist in all operational aspects of the cultivation facilities
• Provide individualized care and attention to each plant.
• Maintain a pristine and orderly work environment.
• Identification and reporting of plant diseases, insects, fungi, and treatment options.
• Continuously update knowledge on cultivation techniques and industry advancements.
• Ensure the cleanliness of personal and communal workspaces.
• Participate in daily sanitation practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to perform job duties effectively, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to our facility.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Maintain good personal hygiene.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team and communicate positively.
• Independent in meeting production goals while following directions.
• Capability to perform all tasks in the grow process including cleaning, cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, super cropping, topping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays, waste disposal, and inventory management.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50lbs safely.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks at a workstation.
• Strong record-keeping skills.
• High attention to detail and a sense of personal accountability and responsibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
