What are the responsibilities and job description for the Release Coordinator position at Dexian DISYS?
Job Summary:
Dexian is seeking a Release Coordinator for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC. We are looking for an individual contributor with strong hands-on experience in all aspects of release management
Responsibilities:
- Focus on end-to-end management of scheduled and off-cycle releases ensuring ECM compliance
- Focus on release coordination, release documentation, release preparation, and release verification
- point of contact and subject matter expert in enterprise change standards
- identify and develop ways to improve the release process's quality, capability, or efficiency
- Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
- Weekly Release Reporting
- Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
- Negotiate, plan, and manage all release activities
- Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
- Maintain a release repository and manage critical information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
- Conduct weekly governance review routines with the technical teams reviewing release status, quality, and changes to standards
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in release management activity
- 3-5 years of quality testing
- Competent understanding of various SDLC methodologies from waterfall through agile
- Strong verbal/written communication skills and excellent organization skills
- Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, adapt to change, and effectively prioritize work to meet competing deadlines
- Experience with onsite-offshore coordination
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
