The Growth team at DFINITY is on a mission to help build the Internet Computer ecosystem by partnering with high impact developers and entrepreneurs, and enabling them to build hyperscale internet services that serve billions of people.
The Grant Program Manager is responsible for building out the core processes and tools to operationalize our newly-formed DFINITY Developer Grant Program, which aims to catalyze the growth of the Internet Computer ecosystem and make the Internet Computer accessible and approachable to more developers around the world by providing support to promising developers and teams. Working cross-functionally across Growth, Product, Legal, Finance, Comms & Marketing, and Engineering, you will help coordinate teams internally to ensure our developers have a best-in-class experience from their application through to the completion of their grant work. You will assist with everything from evaluating proposals to managing the application, evaluation, and diligence processes to helping grantees throughout their cohort.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage inbound applications and develop streamlined approval processes with relevant internal stakeholders

Build an internal cohort of volunteers to assist with various stages of the grant process

Define, measure, and track success metrics associated with the program

Manage relationships with grant recipients and shepherd them through the process

Track and schedule check-ins, milestone delivery dates, and disbursements

Work collaboratively with Legal and Finance to create streamlined disbursement processes

Manage external communications of the grant program together with Comms & Marketing

Participate in external events to help cultivate new grant leads and proactively field developer trends and project ideas
Requirements:

5 years of work experience in program or project management, business development, consulting, grants, venture capital, or corporate development

Deep understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchains and other Web 3.0 technologies

Strong understanding of developers -- their needs and demands and ability to spot common themes across different use cases.

Demonstrated ability to balance thinking strategically and creatively with process and metric-driven execution

Great communication skills -- ability to influence at all levels of the organization and engage professionally with external parties
