Join a globally recognized law firm seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal to bolster the local IP&T and Litigation Practitioners as well as the national IP&T and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups. Reporting to the Manager, Paralegal Services, this role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to high-profile cases.
Job Responsibilities
Litigation Support: Assist in all stages of litigation and/or patent litigation, from investigations to trial and appeal
Discovery Support: Aid in privilege reviews, preparation of templates, documentation, and deposition preparation
Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents for various courts and agencies
Research: Perform factual and legal research using databases such as Westlaw and PACER
Administrative Support: Maintain litigation files and provide general administrative assistance
Experience & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or Associates Degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience
Experience: Minimum 5 years in litigation support with expertise in discovery, legal research, and trial preparation
Skillset: Strong communication, organization, and ability to work under pressure
Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document management software, and legal databases
Other: Ability to provide direction to junior team members and maintain confidentiality
