Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Staff Accountant support.
- Maintaining state tax compliance (Nexus).
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Managing subledgers and Balance Sheet account schedules.
- Tracking project expenses for cost allocation.
- Collaborating with departments to ensure smooth financial data flow.
- Ensuring adherence to tax regulations.
- Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Supporting the Controller with external audits.
- Taking on special projects.

The Person
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a similar field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in construction accounting.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Cloude-Suite Industrial preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong understanding of tax regulations.
- Familiarity with construction contract management (a plus).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening (including marijuana).
