Construction Adjunct Consulting, Inc. prides itself on our vast administrative support skills and extensive accounting and project management experience. We are currently looking to add an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to our team.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for coordinating all administrative activities related to the organization’s personnel. This role is responsible for managing all phases of the employment life cycle from recruitment through separation as well as all aspects of employee relations and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Essential Job Functions:
· Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
· Manages the staffing process including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
· Bridges management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues.
· Supports the current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
· Assesses organization’s training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
· Oversees and manages benefits administration.
· Assists with payroll processing including payroll tax payments and quarterly reporting.
· Works in conjunction with Safety Manager to ensure compliance with CAL-OSHA regulations and assists with Worker’s Compensation claims processing.
· Ensures legal compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
Core Competencies:
· In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices required.
· Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
Qualifications:
· Proven working experience as HR Manager or related position preferred.
· Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
· SHRM-CP or PHR a plus.
