What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries?
Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries is one of the premier employers in Pennsylvania and Maryland. We are a non-profit organization which includes Diakon Senior Living Services and Diakon Child, Family, and Community Ministries.
General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing, implementing and supervising the delivery of in-home services to youth residing with their birth families.
- Provides administrative supervision, direction and support to case managers.
- Approves and reviews discharge summaries, incident reports, court reports, counseling logs of case workers.
- Provides direct services and specialized responsibilities, including assessment, individual, family/group development, as necessary.
- Childline and DHS FBI clearance results are required prior to beginning employment.
- Mandatory Covid-19 Vaccination Program-need covid vaccine card or file for an exemption required
Education/Training: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field of study normally required.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' related experience normally required.
