We are currently hiring for a Service Department Support Assistant - you might be just the person we have been looking for!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Customer quoting, customer correspondence both written and verbal, phone reception, dispatch processes, maintaining in-house records, assisting with schedule set up and maintenance, report generation.
- Providing support to field technicians regarding dispatch, company stock, field billing and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
- Overall support to all service departments especially regarding customer follow up and paperwork processes.
- Promoting company products and services to existing and potential customers.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), successful completion of at least 2 years of college courses, as well as two years to four years industry related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Communication Skills: Ability to create written correspondence in a professional manner for the purpose of communicating with customers or co-workers. Ability to listen and respond effectively when speaking with customers and co-workers both one-on-one as well as within groups.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
Computer Skills: Ability to work proficiently in a variety of software applications to include but not limited to word processing, spreadsheet manipulation, email and on-line navigation. Experience with QuickBooks is beneficial.
Self-Management: Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and perform their work in a busy environment with regular interruptions and still be successful in completing work within allotted time frames with minimal supervision. Ability to set and achieve personal and professional goals.
