Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative who is able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. They will be working closely with the Sales Director to help secure dealers, manage bike and parts sales, answer customer inquiries, and meet sales targets from behind the scenes.
This individual will need to have strong self-management skills and can work well both as a team and independently. Strong and professional verbal and written communication skills are required for assisting the Sales Director.
Job tasks/responsibilities
- Expand revenue and market share within the bicycle, powersports and marine industries
- Responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expansion goals by closing new dealerships
- Engage and build relationships with the store owner and management teams to grow partnerships
- Developing and managing sales targets through cold calls, onsite presentations, following up on leads, and orders.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and attend relevant industry events and trade shows to build brand awareness
- Organize and maintain dealer information
- Answer phone calls and emails to provide support
- Gain a deep understanding of our products and confidently answer customer inquiries
- Create sales projections
- Track sales revenues and expenses
Desired Qualities:
- MUST have experience selling bicycles, motorcycles, and or marine powersports.
- Demonstrated track record in new business acquisition and revenue growth within existing accounts.
- Ability to strategically manage a large territory and build out an effective plan for YOY growth
- Highly independent and self-driven to work autonomously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative and able to work well in a team environment
- Strong organization and reporting skills
- Decisive and reliable judgement skills
Job Type: Commission
Salary: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
