What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global IT Manager position at DICE?

We’re looking for a Global IT Manager based in London who can take ownership of all things networking, support, maintenance and administration. You will be leading a team of support specialists to future-proof the business as we scale globally.

About the role

You will lead the IT Support function at DICE, working closely with our Head of QA and Head of Systems Infrastructure in London. This is an opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, be challenged and grow their talent in a fast paced company.  

You’ll be:

  • Aligning DICE IT infrastructure with future business requirements and goals
  • Managing IT budgets, forecasting and enforcing cost-effectiveness across your function
  • Leading our Global IT Support Team and create process for helpdesk service & maintenance
  • Manage user onboarding / offboarding / account provisioning
  • Schedule upgrades and security backups of hardware and software
  • Guarantee the smooth running of all IT systems
  • SaaS systems administration and support (Google Workspace, Slack, etc.)
  • Creating and maintaining documentation on internal policies, procedures, and end user support
  • Supporting office WiFi and Network

  • Comfortable under pressure - you are experienced operating within high-growth company environments
  • Able to troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues

You’ll need

  • IT asset management / inventory management
  • 7 years experience in IT
  • Experience with end-user customer support
  • The ability to contribute to and implement organisational strategy
  • Experience with a new office buildout is a plus
  • Ability to prioritise - you have excellent organisational skills and can be trusted to meet deadlines while under pressure.
