Responsibilities:
As a Quality Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing quality control processes and identifying key performance indicators for quality monitoring.
- Conducting root cause analysis for defects, non-conformities or other quality failures.
- Implementing corrective and preventive actions to reduce quality risks and failures.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality is everyone's responsibility.
- Ensuring that outgoing products meet the set quality standards and customer expectations.
- Participating in the design and development of products to ensure quality is considered at every stage.
- Using lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency and performance.
- Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Training and guiding team members on quality control and improvement techniques.
- Reporting on quality performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
To be considered for the Quality Engineer position, you should have the following qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methods and standards.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to identify key performance indicators and use them to monitor quality performance.
- Proficiency in using quality management systems and other quality control software.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification is a plus.
