Job Summary: DID Electrical, a leading retailer of electrical appliances and technology products, is seeking a dynamic Ecommerce Executive to join our team in Dublin. As an Ecommerce Executive, you will be engaged in managing and optimizing our online sales channels, driving customer engagement, and maximizing revenue growth through our ecommerce platform.
Responsibilities:
Ecommerce Strategy:
- Help to develop and implement an effective Ecommerce strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure a competitive edge.
Website Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's ecommerce website, ensuring its smooth functioning and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, purchasing and customer service, to maintain and enhance website content, functionality, and performance.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any technical issues or bugs.
Product Catalogue Management:
- Manage the online product catalogue, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information, including product descriptions, images, and pricing.
- Work closely with purchasing team to optimise product listings, categorisation, and promotions to drive sales and improve customer experience.
Digital Marketing:
- Collaborate with the wider team to develop and execute effective digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, on-site merchandising and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Customer Experience and Conversion Optimization:
- Continuously improve the customer journey and conversion rates by analysing user behaviour, conducting A/B tests, and implementing conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies.
- Identify and address potential friction points in the online shopping process to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize web analytics tools to generate reports and insights on ecommerce performance, including sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer behaviour.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in ecommerce team, preferably in a retail or consumer electronics environment.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, in particular Shopify, and online marketing tools.
- Experience in Google Analytics or similar analytics tools is desirable.
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing is desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
