Delivery and Pickup Driver

Job Title: Delivery & Pickup Truck Driver (CDL NOT required)

Responsibilities:

• Strong communication with Operations Teams: Work closely with our Operations Director, and other relevant departments to ensure that orders are effectively picked up and delivered to the appropriate locations, in the most efficient and productive way to meet expected deadlines.
• High Physical Strength & Capability: Many of the items we move can weigh up to 700 lbs and having the knowledge and the ability to learn these techniques is essential to this job.
• Critically Thinking Skills: Understanding the value of the equipment and treating it with care by having the appropriate knowledge of strapping, boxing, and loading, using lift gates, and other moving equipment appropriately into and out of the box trucks are highly important.
• Customer Engagement: Actively engage with customers and vendors to communicate notes and reports back to the Operations Director or our buyer, providing information and addressing inquiries related to the tasks at hand.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in driving box trucks or other machinery.
• Technical Skills: High Physical Strength, Skills in using straps, loading equipment, critical thinking in efficiency and logistics.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Educational Background: CDL is welcomed, but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
