Job Summary:
Diehl Chevrolet of Hermitage is seeking a driven and experienced Vehicle Sales Manager to join our team. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading the sales team, achieving sales targets, and ensuring the overall success of the dealership's sales department. This is a full-time, management position in the automotive industry, based in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive pay plan with earning potential of $100,000 to $175,000 per year, In addition, you will have access to excellent benefits including health insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve dealership's sales targets
- Lead, manage and motivate the sales team to achieve set goals
- Train and mentor sales staff on effective sales techniques and customer service
- Manage inventory levels and pricing strategy to maximize sales and profitability
- Monitor and analyze sales trends, market conditions, and competition to make informed business decisions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors
- Assist customers with vehicle selection, pricing, and financing options
- Ensure adherence to all dealership policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth sales process
- Conduct sales meetings and provide regular reports to upper management
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the dealership's sales floor and vehicles
- Stay updated on new and existing products and services to accurately answer customer questions and address any concerns
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in automotive sales, with at least 1 year in a dealership management role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a successful sales team
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
- In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry and market trends
- Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
