Different By Design, LLC (DBD) in partnership with Career Association of Georgia, Inc (CAG) invests in startups and existing businesses, adopting the Business to Scholar (B2S) Modular to generate additional revenue by Teaching and Transforming entrepreneurs and/or career seekers.

Through this partnership, we serve as a modernized education and career placement agency founded on the Business: Scholar (B2S) Modular, which is an educational infrastructure, and a catalyst for Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) transactions that allow businesses to adopt its profitable, authorized and accredited courses.

Compensation

$728.00 per eligible and enrolled scholar

Schedule

The Entrepreneurship and Small Business course schedules are held monthly excluding November and December. (a course calendar is provided upon onboarding)
Classes are (11) days of instruction/ 4 hours per day/ 9:00 am-1:00pm or 5:00 pm -9:00 pm

Position Title:

Entrepreneurship and Small Business (ESB) Instructor- B2S Partner Affiliate

Details and Responsibilities:

We are seeking to invest in business professionals with a minimum of 1 year in operation. Must be open to learning and have the desire to teach others. Maintain a professional yet transparent demeanor in working with people of diverse backgrounds.

Business professionals interested in facilitating the Entrepreneurship and Small Business course must agree to the following:

• Attend a Focus Session, which is a group meeting to learn more about the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Course you will teach.

Responsibilities:

• Your business will be given tools to market and advertise for participation in the Entrepreneurship and Small Business course offered free to eligible scholars.

• Instruct scholars on the core principles of business and render curriculum activities (44) course hours/ (11) business days.

• Maintain attendance of each scholar.

• Proctor Entrepreneurship and Small Business Exams.

• Connect graduating scholars with other B2S Partner Affiliates who are hiring.

Requirements:

• Primary instructors must participate in an (11) day training in getting Entrepreneurship and Small Business certified sponsored by Different By Design

• You must have a business plan or subscribe to receive business planning assistance

• Possess a skill specific certification/license

• Participating staff must type a minimum of 45 words per minute.

• Must possess in-depth knowledge in business fundamentals.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet Navigation.

• Possess the teaching ability to convey messages for the recipient to understand

• Be detailed oriented and organized in the learning environment and the management of documents.

• Quick learner, solution-driven, knowledge on the market you serve, the ability to adapt to changing environments, superb written and verbal communication skills.

• Undergo & pass a criminal background check.

• Must have a state-registered business in operation for at least 1 year.

• Must be willing to instruct individuals (virtual or hybrid method)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $728.00 per day

Facilitators providing in-person instruction will be required to follow the COVID-19 protocols of the building they are teaching in.
