Job Summary: The Watch Selling Specialist at Dillard's is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expertise in the watch department.
This role involves assisting customers in selecting the perfect timepiece, educating them on various watch brands and features, and driving sales to meet and exceed departmental goals.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for watches, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to sales.
Key Responsibilities include:
Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Provide expert advice and information on watch brands, styles, and features. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs. Utilize product knowledge to upsell and cross-sell watch accessories and related products. Maintain a strong understanding of current promotions, discounts, and incentives to drive sales.
Product Knowledge and Training: Stay updated on the latest watch trends, technologies, and industry developments. Educate customers on the features, benefits, and unique selling points of various watch brands and models.
Merchandising and Inventory Management: Ensure watches are displayed attractively and effectively to maximize sales opportunities.Monitor and manage inventory levels, including restocking and reordering as necessary. Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock rotation and organization.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Jewelry Department Manager and team members to achieve departmental goals. Assist colleagues with customer inquiries and sales transactions as needed. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1-2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in the watch or jewelry industry.
Strong passion for watches and luxury accessories.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
