Job Description: The Global Client Group (GCG) leads Dimensional's efforts to acquire long-term client relationships and increase the firm's reach in the marketplace. Using a team-based, collaborative system, GCG distributes the firm's financial science-based products and peerless client services across the globe. Working closely with both institutions and financial advisors, GCG has established channels to support specific client segments, allowing for more focus and specialization while enabling greater collaboration across teams to deliver a consistently excellent client experience. The Client Relationship Manager will provide primary day to day client service coverage for our largest and most complex strategic clients. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned client relationships with the objective of retaining current business, deepening engagement, and collaborating with Regional Directors to expand AUM by ensuring the highest level of satisfaction. Success in the role will require the candidate to acquire a deep understanding of Dimensional’ s business processes, investment philosophy and approach, and effectively articulate this to clients. The candidate will work directly with the sales and consultant teams, along with other internal departments such as marketing, portfolio management, legal, compliance and analytics to ensure clients receive exceptional client service and be accountable for the team delivering it. Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the CRM is to retain and assist with expansion of client relationships through consistent delivery of superior service. Deliver a consistent and outstanding client experience based on understanding each client’s situation, needs and concerns. Anticipate/identify client needs and prepare for potential problems/risks and combat this with potential solutions in a timely manner. The CRM will cultivate effective relationships with all internal groups such as portfolio management, research, legal, compliance, marketing, consultant relations and other internal partners in driving the goals of the firm forward while deepening and expanding client relationships. The CRM will also participate as necessary in internal initiatives aimed at improving firm effectiveness. Conduct and participate in leading client meetings with Regional Director and Portfolio Managers. Collaborate closely with investment professionals and colleagues in preparing for these client interactions. Maintain intimate familiarity with internal systems, procedures, and organizational resources required to effectively address client information needs and properly document all client’s interactions in the firm’s CRM system. Responsible for coordinating all responses to client inquiries regarding investment, operations, and communications support. The CRM will proactively deliver timely, relevant, and accurate information to clients. A key responsibility is to partner with Regional Directors to help identify, assemble, and disseminate to clients the firm’s investment philosophy, investment products and merits of the firm in ways that are strategically meaningful helping drive engagements and deeper relationship dialogue. Qualifications: Minimum of five years’ client service or relationship management experience within the financial services sector. Demonstrate a strong track record in delivering exemplary client service. Experience working with defined contribution, defined benefit, endowment & foundation clients. Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Resourceful and analytical approach with a high attention to detail. A strong sense of professional and personal integrity and high ethical standards. Demonstration of initiative, accountability, and a focus on delivering consistent quality work. Strong written and verbal communication skills with client presentation capability. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines. Confident self-starter capable of managing multiple projects. Strong leadership capabilities. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, and /or Economics or related field (with strong academic results). Post graduate qualifications desirable.
