Job Description: Seeking a highly motivated and collaborative individual, with client skills, technical fluency and extensive knowledge in the Defined Contribution market. This role will work closely with the Head of Institutional Defined Contribution and the Institutional Regional Directors in strengthening Dimensional’s client relationships, thought leadership, brand and strategies in the Institutional Defined Contribution market. Responsibilities Include: Engage with Defined Contribution decision makers at Plan Sponsors and National Consulting Firms, in coordination and collaboration with Dimensional institutional sales, client and consultant relations resources. Provide input to and share Dimensional DC thought leadership, be viewed as a strategic partner with clients, strengthen relationships, open doors and look for opportunities for Dimensional capabilities and solutions. Support the Head of Institutional Defined Contribution to build out thought leadership, collateral and other marketing materials Work with the Institutional marketing team to support elevating Dimensional’s brand with thought leadership, events, social media and earned media. Maintain in-depth knowledge of Dimensional products and vehicles available to the Defined Contribution plan clients/prospects that can be leveraged and promoted Stay current with Defined Contribution industry trends while incorporating both internal and external research in appropriate collateral Engage with cross-functional teams to support new product development and strategies for the defined contribution market. Skill Set/Attributes: 15 years’ experience working in investment management or consulting industry, with a focus on Defined Contribution. Excellent client relationship skills a must. Must project credibility with both strong domain knowledge as well as strong client relationship management capabilities. Strong analytical mind set built on key investment concepts; high degree of comfort in positioning solutions for Defined Contribution clients Be well versed in the Defined Contribution space having managed through plan dynamics with the ability to understand and synthesize internal and external research Excellent written and verbal communication skills; marketing acumen; strong ability to craft messages and develop compelling collateral; experience writing thought leadership and presenting at industry events Collaborator who can work across the broader Dimensional organization, building networks and relationships.
