Job Description:
As a Payroll Generalist at Dimmitt Chevrolet, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our workforce is managed effectively and efficiently. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, with a primary focus on payroll and recruitment, as well as general HR duties and benefits reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll:
- Process Biweekly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Administer and maintain employee payroll records and data.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
- Stay current with payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Benefits Reconciliation:
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure accurate benefits enrollment.
- Reconcile benefits statements, review invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist employees with benefits-related questions and issues.
- Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure smooth benefits administration.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in payroll processing.
- working knowledge of HR policies, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications.
- ADP Workforce, CDK, experience is a plus.
- Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
