Job description
We are looking for a security officer for an entry-level position. The ideal candidate is interested in working as part of a team, is assertive, and open to constructive feedback. The security officer is designated to work in Long Beach/Vernon, CA.
Job Title: Unarmed Security Guard
Job Type: Entry Level: Part- Time - Full-time shift
Job Duties:
- Screen & Register all incoming visitors
- Perform hourly patrols
- Secure/Guard facility and other designated areas
- Observe: Remain alert, look out for any suspicious activity
- Report: Create Incident Reports and Notify management team of any incidents
Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills
- Surveillance/Reporting Skills
- Punctual, Reliable, Respectful
- Customer Service skills
Requirements:
- Must be able to work in the U.S
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to lift 15-20 lbs. (e)
- Bilingual (Preferred)
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- Must be able to stand for the entirety of the shift
License: California Guard Card
Pay Frequency: Biweekly
Location: Vernon & Long Beach CA
Job Type: Full- Time
Pay: $19.00
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
