Materials Transfer Operator
The duties of the Materials Transfer Operator (MTO) include, but are not limited to:
The receiving and storage of raw materials, and packaging materials used in the production of Dippin' Dots, LLC products.
Rotate the stock of those materials, so to accomplish the First In-First Out (FIFO) use of those products.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
The MTO is responsible for the inspection of all materials prior to use, to assure that they meet DDI’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) standards (follow all DDI GMP’s, in regard to food safety and food security).
The MTO sorts all product inclusions, and groups them by lot number, prior to use in production, and supplies the production process throughout each production run.
Prepares all boxes, foam, and Pre-cup dividers for the following day’s production, records the lot numbers of those items, and submits the list to Production Accounting.
Confirms and verifies the Loader’s Sheet count of product made each day, and tracks the amount of PPC&C and PPCCCDIC used, and not used by Pre-Packs. Maintains the inventory of both flavors stored in pallet reefers in the main storage freezer.
The MTO maintains a stock of bulk bags, 5 oz. Pre-Cup lids, and Pre-Pack web in an area readily accessible to the Production area, and keeps a stock available for each day’s production run. Also provides accessibility to other Pre-Cup lids, cups, tubes, and Dots ‘n
Cream packaging materials.
Takes count of latex gloves, bouffant caps, and beard covers, and reports inventory level to the Materials Procurement Agent.
At the request of the Inventory Control Manager, conduct inventory of finished product/frozen inclusions.
Perform any/all duties required/requested by the Production Operations Manager, to assist the continuous flow of the production process.
