Job Summary
The Marketing Representative will support and develop our marketing strategy to drive our brand in the marketplace. Your primary focus is to present a positive image of our brand by developing and managing content creation, talent brand management, engaging company materials, as well as delivering press releases to various media outlets. You will partner with our outsourced marketing team on creating a uniform marketing strategy/program that will continuously generate new leads, brand awareness, and increase service demand in our industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with marketing team to devise an efficient marketing strategy aimed at increasing sales and brand awareness
- Internal liaison between company and outsourced marketing firm. Responsible for project managing statement of work and overall marketing objectives
- Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns and help manage our vendor relationships
- Support the content development and design for the Direct Connect Logistix website
- Content creation for our social media presence to drive customers, employees, and future employee engagement
- Track our brand’s market performance and update our Executive Leadership team on the progress of our marketing campaigns
- Keep abreast of current industry trends and market demands
- Manage the ordering and stock of all promotional, talent and company brand materials
Job Requirements
Education/Experience
- BA or BS degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of two years of corporate marketing experience
- High attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Content creation and project management skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines
Skills Required
- Proficient computer skills with applications such as Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and take initiative under ambiguous circumstances in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment.
- Must have strong relationship-building, follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work with other departments and provide guidance to those department leads.
- Must be detail-oriented and must meet scheduled deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task in completing scheduled activities along with additional assigned activities.
- Punctuality and a good work ethic are critical.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
