The Total Rewards team is looking for our next compensation expert who will support the management of our compensation and equity programs, which are core to our employee value proposition and enable us to attract and retain our talented team.The Compensation Analyst will work alongside our team to establish compensation analytics, supporting the design, development and evaluation of Discord’s compensation program, as well as supporting a variety of initiatives to continue to build a global Total Rewards strategy. We are looking for a data expert with a strategic mindset, and the ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a startup environment and has proven success in establishing scalable and efficient operations.
What You'll Be Doing
Conduct ongoing market pricing analysis to ensure market competitiveness as we grow (e.g. Radford, Mercer, ERI.)
Analyze utilization metrics for our Total Wellness Program; provide recommendations and adjustments as needed. Project manage initiatives in partnerships with ERGs and POps team to drive engagement
End-to-end management of our semi-annual compensation cycle
Business partner to recruiting team for offer guidance, management and escalations
Assess our current attrition, offer acceptance/declination rate metrics and other key data points and perform yearly market competitive analyses to assess the effectiveness of our compensation program
Build compensation systems and tooling to automate our compensation management process
Special projects, such as a review and analysis of trending pay practices, LTI taxation in international locations, compensation business reviews, etc.
You'll Thrive In This Role If You Have
5 years of experience in compensation management, including an emphasis on global compensation administration across fixed and variable cash and equity compensation
Experience with stock options, RSUs, and other equity offerings, building and running compensation programs and incentive-based plans
Compensation experience with rapidly scaling technology companies (pre- and post-IPO equity, mergers and acquisitions) where the business is constantly evolving
Laser focus on large datasets to maintain accuracy and ability to summarize data to support our decisions
Impeccable communication skills; able to explain complex ideas in a simple, clear manner, deftly answer challenging compensation questions, and connect with a variety of audiences
Excellent attention to detail, highest degree of confidentiality, time management, presentation, and organizational skills
Advanced experience in Excel and Google Sheets
A love for analyzing. Including statistical analysis and modeling along with experience evaluating and managing online salary management tools
Bonus Points
CCP or other relevant certification
Experience in a pre-IPO environment
Experience with R, Stata or other statistical software
