Job Duties and Responsibilities
Summary Description
The Account Manager owns the client relationship and drives strategy to meet business goals. Responsible for day-to-day management of projects from inception to completion, ensuring work is produced on time, on-budget and on-strategy. The account manager must possess excellent relationship management and presentation skills along with the ability to think strategically and creatively. Collaborates with design/copy teams to ensure fulfillment of on-point and on-time client deliverables. This position reports to the Account Director.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Operates as liaison between OneTen and DishLATINO
- Manages the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives on behalf of Latino and business product lines, including direct response, direct mail, collateral, radio and digital
- Communicates scope of work, budget and timing changes to team members and key stakeholders, developing contingency plans as needed
- Applies marketing best practices, DISH key strengths and industry trends to all marketing communication initiatives
- Ensures consistent integration of messaging across all media
- Processes new project requests, including reviewing communication brief and securing assets
- Assigns resources based on scope of work
- Develops project schedules and revises as needed, ensuring project deadlines are met
- Schedules and facilitates kickoff meetings with creative teams
- Attends daily production meeting to review priorities and to forecast and mitigate potential issues
- Proactively manages and monitors all active projects, escalating issues as appropriate
- Monitors resource allocation and project status to help the creative team prioritize projects
- Manages communication and approvals between senior leadership and creative teams
- Ensures quality assurance measures are followed and client expectations are met
- Releases production art files, receives vendor proofs, obtains stakeholder approval
- Demonstrates diplomacy when faced with challenging, time-sensitive issues
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requirements:
- Must be fluent in Spanish. Position will be dedicated to Latino client and all materials will be developed in Spanish
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, advertising or related field, with 2-4 years’ experience
- Experience across all advertising media, including direct response, direct mail, print, broadcast, radio, online, out-of-home, events, and environmental
- Experience with multicultural marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Advanced strategic and visionary thinker
- Strong understanding of design concepts and copywriting and industry best practices
- Exceptional interpersonal management skills
- Advanced project management skills, including above average attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Salary Range
Compensation: $57,400.00/Year - $82,000.00/Year
