As the Food and Beverage Director you will lead the Food and Beverage operations and support teams to develop the Food and Beverage experience for one of The Hotels of Disneyland Resort. You will provide high levels of Food and Beverage service quality and foster an environment of teamwork, innovation, and creativity. You will have an intimate knowledge of the food and beverage industry and leadership experience in resorts and standalone operations of several sizes.

Responsibilities :
- Foster a positive work environment that builds community and trust and expresses the Disney leadership behaviors.
- Be a representative of the Disney brand and champion the brand's service vision for product and service delivery.
- Set and meet financial goals for all food and beverage departments.
- Support and hold outlet leaders accountable for achieving expected results.
- Collaborate with the Culinary leadership to conceptualize and coordinate all food and beverage experiences.
- Lead food and beverage-focused programs within The Hotels of Disneyland Resort.
- Partner with Food and Beverage support teams to develop and bring to market new menus, changes to existing menus and special events/holidays.
- Manage quality through inspection processes.
- Use metrics to guide operational improvements across multiple departments of the Food and Beverage division.
- Use market analysis, best practices, latest trends, and previous experience to promote the Food and Beverage experience at the hotels.
- Partner with Marketing Teams to develop food and beverage marketing strategy for the hotels and in partnership with the Resort.
- Partner with Hotel Executive and Culinary Directors to determine and monitor Food and Beverage KPIs.
- Lead succession planning, leadership development and recognition.
Basic Qualifications :
- 7 years of progressive hotel food and beverage operations experience.
- 5 years at the Director level in Food and Beverage Operations or Restaurants overseeing multiple departments.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of experience.
- Experience working in a rated environment such as Forbes Travel Guide Star Ratings, or AAA Diamond Rating.
- Understanding of union environments, union rules and compliance.
- Knowledge of Disney audience and creating magical Disney experiences.
- Understanding of financial responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditures, and P&L reviews.
- Experience with facility management systems like HOTSOS and Food and Beverage POS systems such as Dine Time.
- TIPS/Alcohol awareness certification and Food and Beverage Manager Health Certification.
