Business Strategy Coordinator
Disney Platform Distribution is a business unit that manages all third-party media sales efforts for distribution, affiliate marketing and affiliate-related business operations for all of the Company's direct-to-consumer services and linear media networks; as well as content licensing and home entertainment agreements for General Entertainment, Studios and Sports.
Platform Distribution Strategy is seeking a hybrid role that will serve both as a Coordinator as well as an Executive Assistant supporting the VP, Platform Distribution Strategy. Coordinator responsibilities will include support of administrative contractual tasks including contract database management, with additional focus on creating and maintaining contractual resources and summaries and ad hoc support for contract reviews. Executive Assistant responsibilities will include administrative and executive support for the west coast Platform Distribution Strategy team and organization.

Responsibilities:
Create and maintain various contractual analyses and summaries across accounts and services.
Maintain contract database, standards, and procedures to facilitate contractual analysis and ensure contractual compliance.
Supports business affairs and legal colleagues to implement best practices and processes in connection with account negotiations and business needs
Coordinate with members of the Business Affairs team, Legal, Strategy, Sales and other internal stakeholders to align on key issues and goals and to support a streamlined contract management and negotiation process.
Coordinate/confirm all calendar matters, including internal and external meetings, establishing conference calls, and coordinating meetings over multiple time zones
Provide additional administrative and office support such as setting up zoom calls, booking conference rooms, answering incoming phone calls, detailing messages, distributing mail, filing, photocopying, scanning and tracking documents, data entry, word processing, and ordering supplies
Interaction with various internal departments, other Administrative Assistants, external organizations and executive management globally
Manage all worldwide travel arrangements and trip tracking/oversight (flight, hotel, car, meeting coordination) and all related expense management
Support basic office functions as required (i.e. maintain copy/supplies room, stock kitchen supplies, sort mail)
Builds internal network of Walt Disney Company colleagues to aid in self-learning and support job function
Required experience:
At least 2 years of experience supporting executives within a large, corporate environment
Demonstrated interest and 1 years of related administrative or experience supporting legal or contract analysis role
Strong written, verbal, organization and computer skills including Outlook, Excel, Power point, and Word
Communicate effectively and concisely to various internal stakeholders with appropriate levels of information
Able to project manage and juggle multiple projects/tasks at once while remaining positive, poised, calm, and low key
Demonstrated ability to take direction, work as a team member, and meet deadlines
Highly meticulous and solution oriented with strong attention to detail
Ability to work with highest degree of confidentiality – exercising discretion, judgment and diplomacy
Understand and intuitively anticipate needs and demands for this executive role

The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $59,925 – $77,550 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
