Welding Helper

We are a custom trade show exhibit house in Anaheim, and are looking for an organized, energetic self-motivated individual to join our growing team! If you excel in deadline-driven situations, have a collaborative environment, and have great attention to detail, we would love to hear from you.

This position will work with Senior Welders and Production to ensure every project is on schedule and better than the last.

Core duties and responsibilities include the following.

· Ensure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert workmanship and polite communication

· Cooperate with others in a team environment

· Communicating efficiently with the team members

· Must be able to work within precise limits or standards or accuracy

· Unloading and loading the metal to be used

· Ability to follow Welder’s instructions and set up of welding machine’s temperature.

· Work closely with Welders and other team members

· Assist in thermal and ARC metal cutting

· Responsible for monitoring inventory levels and restocking them as needed

· Perform inspections, cleaning, maintenance and repairs of equipment

· Must be able to safely operate power equipment

· Ability to identify flaws the completed job and ability to make corrections

· Cleaning the job site after the completion of the task

· Repairing metal structures as needed

· Moving the rigs when required

· Compiling all the rules and regulations of the company

· Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED

· Proven work experience as a Welder Helper is recommended but not required

· Demonstrate the ability to join various metals

· Ability to follow and accept direction from leadership

· Proven work experience as a Welder Helper is mandatory

· Demonstrate the ability to join various metals

· Must have experience with a Shop Saw and Band Saw

· Bilingual a plus (Spanish/English)
