Overview
Distinctive Home & Healthcare is currently seeking to hire a full time Physical Therapist to work at the Naval Health Clinic in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. In this position, the Physical Therapist will provide assessment and treatment to the military service members and their dependents.
Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of Physical Therapist services.
- Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on an evaluation of the patient.
- Administer manual exercises to improve and maintain function.
- Administer soft tissue mobilization, applying knowledge of mobilization techniques and body physiology.
- Administer traction to relieve pain, using traction equipment.
- Perform prevention and wellness activities, education, screening, and promote positive health behaviors.
- Record treatment, response, and progress in patient's chart and/or automated systems.
Qualifications
- Must possess a minimum of one year of experience as a physical therapist within the last 2 years.
- Must have a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or Bachelors in Physical Therapy for graduates prior to January 1, 2002 from a college or university approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- Must have a BLS certification with the American Heart Association
