Distinctive Tree Care, located in Hartford, Connecticut, is the Northeast's fastest-growing tree care company. We are seeking a motivated, self-driven, full-time practicing Arborist to take over our residential and commercial tree and plant healthcare portfolio.

Qualified candidates will be highly organized, and self-motivated. Connecticut Certified Arborist License and Supervisory Pesticide Applicator License are required.

Herbicide and ornamental pruning certifications are a plus. The ideal candidate can take on our existing clients and grow the business.

Responsibilities :

• Arborist will meet with clients to assess their trees / landscape, address any issue or concerns they have, and educate clients about proper tree care standards.
• Work with office staff on the response to commercial bids
• Write detailed proposals with recommendations for specific tree care needs
• Ability to Estimate time / cost for crews to perform tree removal, pruning, plant health care, and all other tree care services
• Follow up and communicate with clients about any questions or concerns
• Oversee production team to ensure that the work order is clear and executed completely.
• Find new opportunities for commercial clients

Desired Skills and Experience :

• Connecticut Certified Arborist License
• Supervisory Pesticide Applicator License
• Excellent Work Ethic
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be detailed oriented and be able to work within the guidelines of the organization
• Goal oriented
