District Kitchen & Bar, a busy contemporary American restaurant in downtown Pittsfield, seeks a full-time Front of House manager.
Responsibilities include:
- Front of house employee training and development, including interviewing and hiring, performance reviews, and scheduling
- Overseeing the beverage program, including beer, wine, and liquor ordering and cocktail recipe development
- Overseeing nightly service, ensuring that the restaurant operates to standard by engaging with staff and customers
- Coordinating with the kitchen manager to ensure open lines of communication and cooperation between the front and back of house staffs
The ideal candidate will have experience in restaurant management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be knowledgeable about beer, wine, and cocktail trends.
The position is full-time and requires the candidate to be on-site during dinner service.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
