Imaging Specialist

DISYS is actively seeking candidates for several Document Imaging Processor positions for our client located in Des Moines, IA. Successful applicants need to be proficient in keyboarding and 10 key, are able to multi-task between multiple computer systems, switch task mid-work based on need and are self-starters. This opportunity serves as an excellent way to get your foot in the door with one of the largest and most successful employers in the area, and to build your professional work experience. This is a 3 year contract with the opportunity to convert to a full time position with a base salary of 36,000/yr. Multiple shifts available, some Saturday overtime expected.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare incoming mail or other documents.
• Scan, perform rudimentary indexing, and properly store documents for either long or short term retention.
• Organize and complete daily work goals and team project work.
• Ensure that all imaged documents adhere to CSD imaging/indexing quality standards.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures, training and best practices for use within the imaging environment

Qualifications:

• Good oral and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, and basic math skills required
• Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal procedures and instructions.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of people in a team atmosphere required.
• Must be well organized and able to multi-task and manage to deadlines. Must be detail oriented.
• Must have PC experience with the ability to key 45 CWPM.
• Must have the ability to push/pull a four-wheel cart and lift up to 30 pounds.

Additional requirements:

• Must be able to work overtime/additional hours including weekends, holidays and rotation coverage on Saturdays.
