Position : Food Preparation Worker
Join our culinary team and be a key player in delivering exceptional dining experiences! We are currently seeking a dedicated Food Preparation Worker to contribute to the preparation of high-quality meals in our dynamic kitchen environment.
Responsibilities :
Food Handling and Preparation
- Follow recipes and portion controls to prepare ingredients for cooking.
- Cut, chop, and dice vegetables, fruits, and meats as required.
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately.
Kitchen Organization
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment and utensils are properly sanitized.
- Stock and replenish kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring and reporting stock levels.
Collaboration
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient meal preparation.
- Follow the guidance of chefs and senior kitchen personnel.
Adherence to Health and Safety Standards
- Strictly adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Handle food in compliance with health department regulations.
Quality Control
- Monitor the quality of ingredients and report any discrepancies.
- Assist in inspecting and ensuring the freshness of produce.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring and cutting.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
