Diverse Staffing, recently named a Glassdoor Best Places to Work in 2021, is currently interviewing professionals for the position of Marketing Manager. This is an in office, internal position at our Corporate Office in Indianapolis, IN. This is not a remote position.
The Marketing Services Manager plays a key role in the successful planning and implementation of the Diverse Staffing multi-channel marketing strategies. This position supports marketing to the public for qualified candidates at all levels, as well as targeted employers requiring staffing, sourcing, or managed technical services as needed.
The Marketing Services Manager will help suggest and create innovative ideas that tie print, web, mobile, email, search social and traditional advertising together for each brand. This role will support efforts to improve SEO, online reputation scores and the implementation of creative solutions to identifying applicants for internal and external positions based on research, insight, and data.
The Marketing Services Manager will produce for executive approval all digital and print materials such as job ads, web ads, job fair materials, direct mail and email, business cards, signage, and social media campaign management to support the Diverse Staffing brand.
Essential Responsibilities
- Publish job ads on behalf of all Diverse Staffing business lines for both internal and external jobs,
- Responsible for providing sleek brand focused designs by personal creation or management of third-party design vendors which are approved by the Executive team for use throughout all Diverse Staffing business units.
- To support brand consistency on a national basis, the MSM will implement strategies that will increase search engine optimization (SEO) for the Diverse Staffing Web site, professional digital content including advertising and communication documents and/or templates on a national scope,
- Review and edit as necessary copy for website, newsletter, or blog content contributors such as recruiting experts and thought leaders in the Employment industry, internal employee submittals and other 3rd party contributors of content sources,
- Manage and expand upon existing blog and social media pages as a designer and administrator.
- Manage content and delivery for corporate communication to employees and clients for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special events,
- Manage Google, Glassdoor, really, Facebook, Yelp and other reviews being an active liaison with Bird Eye. This includes new branch set up, training, and distribution of results.
- Taking prompt action on media responses and/or delegates to an editor/moderator and elevates critical customer concerns to the appropriate manager or executive,
- Working with the Director Sourcing Services and management from each team, the Marketing Services Manager will ensure that new marketing campaigns and requests for creative content are professional, and appropriate to our industry,
- Manage delivery of social media campaigns by directly posting or scheduling and maintaining an established multi-channel campaign calendar. It is essential that the manager’s ideas and goals are considered so a weekly call will be essential to this role with both Sales and Delivery teams,
- Participate in events such as job fairs, press releases, launch events, and press meetings representing the company with professional comportment,
- Audit and document marketing statistics and give presentations to the senior executives of the company on a monthly basis,
- Prepare presentations to be given during the press releases regarding both crisis or disaster and celebrations or launch events,
- Manage inventory, vendor pricing negotiation and purchases of all branded marketing resources including employee, candidate, and client giveaways, prizes, or hand-outs

Bachelor’s degree in business with marketing concentration, journalism, or communication or equivalent, industry relevant work-experience of 5 or more years.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with expertise in copy writing and editing.
- Proficient in use of MS Office Suite including PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud or Suite to produce digital and print documents,
- Experience in recruitment and applicant tracking systems,
- Should be a good team player and ability to implement creative ideas but open to critique,
- Ability to work independently and with others demonstrating good leadership qualities,
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and ability to maintain a positive atmosphere in the team,
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all kinds of people,
