Overview
The primary responsibility of the Senior Billing Analyst is to support weekly and monthly invoicing, collections, and cash application procedures, as well as assisting in ensuring that all accounting is completed in accordance with US GAAP. This role will also assist with both internal and external financial reporting for the company.
Responsibilities
- Prepare high volume of TM invoices on a weekly and FFP and Cost-Plus invoices on a monthly or as needed basis and meet deadlines.
- Enter the invoices into the financial system in a timely manner and be able to manage and resolve discrepancies
- Submit invoices to clients through various on-line billing systems (email, WAWF, IPP, etc.)
- Maintain a monthly billing log to track invoice status
- Follow up and prepare weekly reports for supervisors regarding unbilled and unpaid balances
- Communicate with Project Managers and customers about billing discrepancies and/or overdue balances
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years’ experience working in an accounts receivable function of a government contractor
- Government Contractor experience and invoicing on federal government contracts
- Working knowledge of federal government invoicing and payment platforms, such as WAWF and IPP.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
- Experience working with large volumes of data
- Proficiency in Office 365 suite of applications (Excel, SharePoint, Teams and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate, facilitate and disseminate information
- High level of organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
Basic Compensation : $75,000 - $85,000 / year
The salary offered within this range will be based on the selected candidates skills, experience, education, market data, and internal parity. DLH may offer other rewards that may include performance incentives and program-specific awards. An applicant’s salary history will not be used to determine compensation.
