What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Technician position at DLI?
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, this position is responsible for DLI's CAPA System. Deviations, Nonconformance, Change Control, Customer Complaint Investigations and Response, Kosher and Halal Compliance, Internal and External Auditing, Batch Record Issue Reviews.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage CAPA's, deviations, nonconformances, customer complaints, change control through DLI's Quality Management System. Back up to others as needed per QC/QA Manager's instructions.
- Perform regulatory registration activities, Halal, Kosher, Control Certification and Pest Control.
- Assist in customer and regulatory audits and in the annual internal audit as needed.
- Perform mock recalls, annual drug reviews/batch record issue review.
- Author or review quality documentation such as SOP's and/or Food Safety Plans.
- Other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Computer Literate
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to concentrate with interruptions.
- Knowledge of regulations, cGMP, and requirements specific to DLI processes and products is preferred.
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers and staff at DLI.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, preferably in a scientific area, or 2 years experience in an FDA regulated industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $23.00 per hour
