A qualified applicant for the position of healthcare security officer is wanted by DMAC Security.  Our officers are accountable for the safety and security of the sites that they watch over. Our security personnel identify and report suspicious, illegal, or criminal behavior that may jeopardize the property, clients, guests, or staff, acting as a visible deterrent to crime and site rule infractions. Your attentive observation and quick action help to keep assets protected and people feeling secure. You will manage unarmed foot control access and egress, operate alarm systems, write reports, and carry out other tasks as outlined in post orders as a healthcare security officer. Perfect for a person who is outgoing, vivacious, and pleasant to clients.

Specific Duties and Functions

• Observing and being on the lookout for indications of criminal activity, disruption, danger, and odd activities
• Look for any illegal people, blocked entryways, security infractions, mechanical issues, or harmful conditions Patrolling on foot
• Defusing verbal and physical conflict
• Screening members, guests, and staff members of clients 
• Responding calmly and urgently to crises involving a fire, a medical emergency or an elevator emergency
• Drafting, typing, or entering precise information on reports for supervisors to enter into logs 
• Maintaining the Lost and Found department log
