We accomplish this through DMAX Clubs on college campuses that reduce isolation and loneliness and enable students to realize they are not alone in their struggles. The Clubs provide an environment for students to get together to talk about how they are doing, how their friends are doing and how they can help each other. The Clubs are for all students, because everyone needs Conversations That Connect!
The Position
As our most important program, DMAX Clubs are mental health focused student organizations on college campuses for students to get together and talk about how they are doing, how their friends are doing, and how they can help each other. The DMAX Club Program Coordinator is responsible for the creation, development, and support of DMAX Clubs on college campuses.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Coordinating priorities with the Executive Director for fulfilling the organization’s mission and goals.
· Outreach for, and development and execution of the DMAX Club program.
· Regular communication with University officials and college students
· Program evaluation and reporting
· Communication with DMAX Foundation stakeholders including the Board of Directors. This position also involves providing assistance to other DMAX Foundation team members and projects, when required.
· Conduct outreach to recruit students, counseling centers, faculty and staff at colleges via email, social media, phone, and presentations or onsite visits/events/conferences
· Create and deliver presentations at events, corporations, and college campuses
- Advise, educate and assist students to fulfill college and DMAX Foundation requirements for club startup
- Manage, maintain, update, and provide student leader manuals and guides as well as Counseling Center training guides, and create new ones when needed
- Develop and provide student leaders meetings and webinars; engage speakers for meetings and webinars and make presentations
- Manage DMAX Club student leader reporting requirements; analyze and report conclusions
- Ensure that DMAX Clubs comply with DMAX Club guidelines and standards to maintain their status as an approved DMAX Club
- Engage student storytellers and Guest Speakers for DMAX Students Speak!, a program that enables students to share their mental health journeys to a virtual audience who recognizes they are not alone in their struggles
- Create, analyze and report on surveys and evaluations of DMAX Club programs
- Conduct administrative duties related to DMAX Club programming
- Maintain DMAX Club content for website
- Conduct Internship Interviews, oversee on-board and supervise interns
- Create and execute short-term and medium-term marketing strategies to target college campuses
- Develop and design content for DMAX Club marketing materials and for social media
- Provide expertise to other DMAX Foundation team members
- Assist DMAX Foundation in other tasks as needed including in person and virtual events

Compensation: commensurate with experience

COVID-19 considerations:
All work was virtual in 2020 due to COVID. In 2021, we are currently working on a hybrid basis, and expect the onsite work to increase for this position, especially at the onset.
