We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join our team. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for implementing safety programs, conducting training sessions, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
**Duties:**
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes
- Provide safety training to employees on various topics including CPR, First Aid, and OSHA regulations
- Maintain records of safety training and incidents
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns
- Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and workers compensation laws
- Prepare and submit safety reports
**Experience:**
- Proven experience in occupational health and safety
- Knowledge of workers compensation law and regulations
- Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, and OSHA standards is preferred
- Strong report writing skills
- Experience in training development is a plus
- Pay rate is based on experience
