This position can be located based out of our Katy, Texas (Houston, Texas area) or Oakland, CA offices with flexible work schedule and Hybrid/Remote work opportunities.
What You'll Do
The role is within the WindFarmer and SolarFarmer Product Teams; owning the customer relationship and working together with the Product Team to develop market position, bring insights and contribute to our strategic direction.
- Identifying and nurturing new business opportunities for short-term and long-term revenue growth.
- Driving sales across the full opportunity cycle, from origination to closing opportunities.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and provide regular updates to leadership (sales forecasts, reports, and presentations).
- A key role in building cross-functional Product Teams, enhancing our goal to put the customer viewpoint at the heart of our product development processes.
- Develop and implement sales processes and procedures to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build and manage relationships with key industry players.
- Be self-organized & self-managing.
- You will play a crucial role in a cross-functional team, including product development, marketing, and operations, creating synergies and building world-class software and customer experiences.
- Being able to manage changing priorities and adapt to new challenges, in addition to taking on new responsibilities and tasks if they arise.
- Introduce new ways of working and challenge the status quo.

What is Required
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred and 2 years of experience in software, technology or the energy sector, preferably in wind or solar.
- In lieu of degree a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software, technology or the energy sector, preferably in wind or solar.
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in software, technology or the energy sector, preferably in wind or solar.
- Digitally savvy
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills (Additional language skills advantageous due to the regional scope of the role).
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time (domestic and international), occasional overnight
