Position Purpose:
Manages staff schedule and supports and coordinates transportation activities between the main production facility and other locations such as but not limited to: Airport, Vendors and as well as schedule vehicles to move goods or people.
Duties and responsibilities
Example of Duties
Essential Functions
Plan, forecast, schedule and communicate transportation activities with dispatch between main production site, logistics unit and JFK Airport and ensure on time delivery of high quality products, goods and services
Plan, forecast, schedule and communicate transportation activities
Train, supervise and motivate team members and answer their questions and concerns. Manage their time schedule in order to minimize overtime cost.
Ensure smooth and efficient operations, supply chain managements. Train employees on ramp safety SOPs as well as motivate the team members and supervise them
Communicate equipment orders to employees, vendors and customers. Assist Ramp Safety Manager and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Supportive Functions
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of DO&CO.
- Maintain safety work place
- Communicate information to respective departments
- Create and review reports as necessary
- Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in related field/Preferably as Ramp Safety Officer
- Proficient computer skills (Particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- High School diploma or equivalent
