dog people is hiring an experienced dog groomer to take over Hilton Head Island/ Bluffton route. We have a really fantastic route that is currently split between Hilton Head Island and Bluffton with really fantastic customers and dogs. We are seeking immediately an honest, experienced dog groomer with solid work ethic and a good driving record and customer service skills who is able to work independently with minimum supervision. We are the premiere mobile dog grooming service in the low country!

Required Expectations: 6 baths/grooms a day, honesty, good work ethic, integrity, positive personality and desire to be part of a larger mission. Demonstrated driving experience and clean driving record for working on a Mercedes Sprinter with Hanvey conversion. Shirts and equipment/tools/sharpening provided to maintain standard of excellence. Growing and expanding company with multiple options for growth and advancement. Bonus opportunities. Employee equity options in advancement. Must be able to complete a full groom including scissor work. Position is available immediately. This position DOES NOT require commuting to Hilton Head Island only servicing the clients on the island. Commute can be extremely flexible.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be required to:

• Maintain the safe operation of the grooming vehicle and obey all state and local driving laws.

• Perform daily visual inspections of the unit to ensure proper preventive maintenance, observe any unusual wear and tear or accidental damage and report immediately.

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning task to maintain a clean and safe grooming environment.

• Complete and turn in daily paperwork and financials.

• Keep records in CRM the customer data base and schedule up to date.

• Keep records in POS up to date.

• Maintain the dog people standard of excellence when interacting with clients and their pets including but not limited to notifying customers when running behind.

• Immediately report any mechanical or grooming incidents to management.

• Perform dog bathing/grooming services (based on six dogs a day) to our clients including but not limited to

o Check ears and clean ears

o Check teeth o Check anal glands and express if needed or requested.

o Cut and Dremel nails smooth

o Brush

o Bathe

o Dry

o Cut/Style/Shave down

o Love & Snuggle

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
