Process Maintenance Operator | Night Shift

Looking for a great paying job with an industry-leading company? Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading supplier in the food industry located in Park Rapids, MN. We are seeking a Process Maintenance Operator to join their team on a 12-hour night shift (5:00pm-5:00am).

Process Maintenance Operator Main Responsibilities:

• Visually inspects and test Machinery and equipment
• Listens for unusual sounds and views machines and equipment to detect malfunction
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts
• Lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems and related steam and refrigeration, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators
• Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, mill, grinder and drills to repair or fabricate machine parts

Process Maintenance Operator Key Requirements:

• 1-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent and/or three to six months of related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Read, write comprehend and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and maintenance instructions
• Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio and percent
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exist
