What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting / HR Admin position at Dolce Vita Wellness Spa?
JOB OVERVIEW:
The position of Accounting/HR admin will assist the Controller with all day-to-day operations within the Finance and HR departments and serve as a backup for guest services when needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee purchasing and weekly inventory for Dolce Vita Wellness Spa & Dolce Vita MedSpa
- Maintain vendor relationships but dispute charges/fees when necessary
- Process all incoming invoices and credit card receipts in Quickbooks along with weekly check runs
- Assist with routine journal entries and month-end close
- Maintain employee personnel records
- Publish job ads
- Draft company policies and manage Employee Handbook
- Assist with onboarding of new employees, including I-9 Verifications and setup in HRIS system
- Respond to employee questions and concerns related to benefits and company policies
- Be available to assist with Front Desk and call center coverage when there are call-offs or vacations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Basic knowledge of accounts payable and credit card reconciliations
- Experience in purchasing a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Exceptional organization skills
- Strong attention to detail and able to manage multiple projects at any given time
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must maintain a professional demeanor and well-groomed appearance
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
