Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to recipes and quality standards
- Monitor food stock levels and replenish ingredients as needed
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary techniques
- Excellent time management skills to ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner
- Basic retail math skills for cash handling and calculating order totals
- Experience using a cash register for processing payments
- Proficient in food preparation techniques, including slicing, chopping, and measuring ingredients
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems, such as Aloha POS
- Ability to upsell menu items and make recommendations to customers
